EWI Classes

The EWi or the Elecdtroic Woodwind Instrument is a woodwind instrumenht that was first develope4d in the 1970s and has had a current popularity.  It is an instrument that combines all woodwind instrument technqieus into one electronic instrument that is flexible and can sound like any instrument or sound as it is a Synthisizer and a MIDI Controller.  Pasha Music Education will be offering courses for students from the Elementary, MIddle and HIgh School levels.  The courses and the method books are currenty being developed.  Please stay in touch for future updates and when classes will be available.

Elementary/ Middle School (Grades 4-7)


A one year programd with 10 week classes.  Students learn the basics of music and how to play an EWI with a modified EWI that is created just for kids. This program wil be offered for Grades 4 and 5 and Grades 6 and 7.


EWI Classes for High School (Grades 8-12)

A two year course where students lean to play the full EWI model that is used in professional performaces.  Students learn how to use the EWI with internal and external sounds with a computer and MIDI software.  Each classes have a performance at the end of the 10 week class.  These classes build students all the way to the EWI Ensmeble, and advance performace groujp just for high school students.  For this program, students need at least one year experience in a musical instrument, preferably a woodwind, but not necessary. 


EWI Ensemble


A hight school ensemble for students who have gotten the grasp of the basics of the EWI.
